Learn Practical Communication Skills

Parents receive support with managing difficult conversations, setting healthy boundaries, sharing important information, and responding to disagreements more constructively. Sessions may also address transitions between homes, parenting schedules, new partners, discipline, and differences in parenting styles.

Keep Children Out of Adult Conflict

Ongoing parental conflict can place children under significant emotional pressure. Co-parenting therapy helps parents recognize harmful interaction patterns and create new ways of working together. The goal is not to make parents agree on everything, but to help them communicate respectfully and protect their children from adult disputes.

Is Co-Parenting Therapy Right for Your Family?

Co-parenting therapy may benefit parents who experience frequent misunderstandings, difficulty making shared decisions, or conflict that affects their children. It is different from couples therapy and is not intended to repair the parents’ romantic relationship. It is also not a custody evaluation, legal service, or substitute for court-ordered parenting coordination.
