Trauma Therapy
Trauma-informed therapy for children, teens, and adults, including TF-CBT and EMDR approaches, in a compassionate and supportive environment.

Compassionate, Trauma-Informed Care
Trauma can affect emotions, relationships, behavior, sleep, concentration, and the way a person experiences safety. At Beehive Family Services, we provide a supportive environment where children, teens, and adults can begin healing at a pace that respects their individual needs.

Support for Different Trauma Experiences
Trauma therapy may help individuals affected by abuse, neglect, violence, accidents, loss, family separation, frightening events, or other overwhelming experiences. You do not have to share every detail of what happened to begin receiving support. Treatment is personalized to each client’s experiences, strengths, goals, and readiness.
Specialized Trauma Treatment
All Beehive Family Services clinicians are trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based treatment commonly used with children, teens, and their caregivers. Some of our clinicians are also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). When appropriate, your clinician will discuss which therapeutic approach may best meet your needs.

Healing at Your Own Pace
Trauma therapy can help clients build coping skills, understand trauma responses, manage difficult emotions, reduce distress, and develop a greater sense of safety and control. Healing looks different for everyone. Our clinicians work collaboratively with each client and, when appropriate, their caregivers to create a thoughtful and manageable treatment plan.
